Azir is the Regent of the city of Azure.
History[]
Like all Azurians, Azir lacks wings but is able to fly through Azure with his fish-like tail. He first met the Sky Dancers when Queen Skyla fell ill. The heroes, looking for a remedy for their leader, found themselves in Azure. Unbeknownst to them, Sky Clone had captured the mythical Mermuse and used it to claim leadership of Azure. Together, the Sky Dancers thwarted Sky Clone's plans and freed Azure from his leadership.[1]
Regent Azir was also present when Sky Clone sabotaged the Azure's magical Organ of Beatitude which resulted in Sky Clone conquering the city and mind-controlling its inhabitants. However, Camille and the Tinker managed to put an end to the plot by fixing the organ.[2]
Later, Azir once again encountered the Sky Dancers as they were investigating a treasure map.[3]
Appearance[]
Azir is a blue-skinned Azurian with frilled fins on his face and a fish tail instead of legs. As with all Azurians, Azir has webbed fingers and finned wings that he uses to fly around Azure. However, his wings seem to be more prominent than the average Azurian citizen.
Personality[]
Azir is a fiercely protective and loyal regent, putting the needs of Azure above all else. As a traditionalist, Azir believes in ancient powers, such as the Mermuse and the Organ of Beatitude. However, while Azir is often forced to treat the Sky Dancers as adversaries, he seems to be on friendly terms with Skyla and her team.
